Bridge Club (chair: Evelyn Mudd)
The local community is invited to play bridge every third Thursday from 1-4:30 p.m.
Episcopal Church Home (chair: Becky
Stover) Volunteers visit the Home, assist with Bingo, song sessions, mail,
gift shop, etc.
Fellowship (chair: Lucy Boyd)
Facilitates potlucks, coffees, and special gatherings for the St. Thomas
"family."
Habitat for Humanity (chair: Kathy
Webster) Organizes fundraising and construction work days for local Habitat home.
Healing Blankets (chair: Lucy Boyd)
Coordinates the creation of blankets for distribution to those in need of a prayer.
Blankets can be found in the rear of the church.
Health Ministry (chair: Colleen Wilson)
Provides support in times of grief and illness. Also, sponsors health fairs
and retreats.
Order of St. Luke (chair: Ann Hodges)
Participants are trained to provide healing prayers for those in need. Wednesday
evening services are dedicated to healing. Order of St. Luke
healing chair is available during the Sunday 10:00 service.
Parents' Night Out (chair: )
Recruits and schedules volunteers for our monthly Saturday evening child care program.
Prayer chain (chair: Linn Robison)
Notifies chain members of parishioners' requests for intercessory prayer.
Prison Ministry (chair: Renate White)
Volunteers help with chapel, visit with prisoners, and provide Christmas stockings
to prisoners. Volunteers are available one Sunday afternoon per month.
Shepherding (chair: Suzie Kirkland )
Recruit, welcome, and shepherd new members, and sponsor a newcomers' tea
Softball (chair: Sam Boling) Play
seasonal coed softball.
Under the Hill Gang (chair: Evelyn Mudd)
Plans monthly events and outings for seniors (trips to restaurants, plays,
sightseeing, etc.)
Zachary Taylor Program (chair: Kim Lager)
This committee coordinates Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for deserving
families at Zachary Taylor Elementary School.
